Based in Lochinver, Assynt, a beautiful corner of West Sutherland with stunning scenery, North West Wheels is a new Private Hire Car Business (Taxi),which operates on a part time basis, covering a large area of the Highlands.

I offer a vital link to main public transport systems, as well as a means to access the large variety of local attractions such as restaurants, shops, Lochinver Post Office, the Royal Bank of Scotland as well as the Parish’s Health Centre which is situated in Lochinver.

Assynt boasts two large camp sites - Achmelvich and Clachtoll, which are hugely popular with a variety of holiday makers who arrive with caravans, mobile homes or tents in the spring and summer months to enjoy the wide variety of attractions Assynt has to offer.

Achmelvich is 4 miles from Lochinver and Clachtoll, 7 miles. Having a local private hire car provides a link for those without their own transport between the Village and the camp sites and of course the opportunity to enjoy an evening in Lochinver without having to worry about driving home.

There are also a large number of guest houses and holiday homes scattered throughout  Assynt. What could be better than knowing you can pick up the ‘phone and order a taxi to take you to your chosen destination for the evening and safely home again? No need for “designated drivers” or having to opt for “staying in” because of lack of transport. You can now book North West Wheels in the knowledge that you will be collected on time and taken to your destination in comfort and safety.

Now entering  my second season,  I feel that last year was a great success considering  it was my first and I look forward to providing the same quality of service to you all in 2016.

Thank you for visiting my website.
